OUTFRONT Media Rolls Out Digital Billboards

The first of OUTFRONT Media’s Digital Billboards were installed last week in Calgary and Edmonton. A third will go up over the next couple of weeks in Toronto. All three Digital Boards will be live for January 2013, with advertising sales already well underway.

The Calgary location, DC6, is a premium location at the hub of two of Calgary’s 6-lane expressways: Glenmore Trail and Blackfoot Trail. Edmonton’s, DE7, is at one of Edmonton’s busiest intersections: 34 Avenue and Gateway Boulevard, a key area for commuter traffic in the south end of the city as well as being on the direct route from Edmonton International airport into the downtown core. Toronto’s DT31, is strategically located on Airport Road, a main access point to Pearson International Airport and a significant commuting corridor for Mississauga and Brampton commuters.

All 3 boards fulfill the OUTFRONT Media Digital directive to roll out select locations in top markets, a strategy that has worked well in the U.S., where CBS operates a network of over 200 Digital boards in key markets across the country. The Canadian boards will be of the same high quality as the U.S. and benefit from the full support of an experienced Digital infrastructure.
